We are founded by ex-TikTok employees and industry leaders.

There is a huge shift in the media landscape as a new generation of consumers engages with social media to research products and shape their buying decisions rather than searching in traditional channels.

Our mission is to guide brands on how they can maximise the exploding social commerce opportunity on TikTok and drive meaningful results for their business.

Luke Townsin

Luke is an industry leading marketing, product and operations specialist He has built teams and products which have pioneered creator and creative marketing at leading technology platforms such as Twitter & TikTok. Across his career, Luke has worked at network agencies, as well as start ups which have enabled him to lead businesses across multiple markets. Luke is fascinated by the intersection of media, creativity and commerce which led him to co-founding Onyx.

Martin Kelly

Martin is one of the most respected agency leaders in the UK as well as an Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year. After spells in network media agencies, he founded and built Infectious Media which was one of the most successful and award winning digital independents opening offices in Europe, the US and Asia as well as the UK. He sold Infectious to Kepler Group in 2020, and took on the International CEO role for the group until leaving to start Onyx in 2025.

Stephanie Carr

Stephanie brings a wealth of Commercial, HR and Operations leadership experience from across agency, SaaS and publisher businesses. She has built and led digital teams globally and has prepared two agency businesses for successful exits. Most recently she led Commercial and People Operations at Infectious Media before its sale to Kepler Group. Following the acquisition she managed the integration in a Chief of Staff role. Stephanie is excited to build Onyx with people and culture at its heart.
